A beginning level of tumbling and gymnastics. Focusing on proper stretching, body awareness, and balance. Students are taught cartwheels, rolls, bridges, headstands. Back flips and front flips. Boys will be introduced to skills on trampoline, double-mini, and floor tumbling. This class is designed for boys to learn the sport of Trampoline.
A Stretch Ladder is exactly what it sounds like. It is a ladder used for increasing flexibility in all areas of your body. It’s main function is stretching the #oversplits but this ladder has many uses to stretch out your legs, hips and back.
- The leg muscle stretcher is a device for stretching the leg muscle to alleviate cramping. The leg muscle stretcher includes three parts, including a handle, a strap and a foot mat. The strap is adjustable in length to accommodate users of different heights.

We strive to teach sound basic skills in a safe gymnastic setting. We believe that encouragement and positive motivation are the keys to gymnastic achievement and self-confidence.
Gymnastics East features the latest in gymnastics technology. We have spring tumbling floors, 40 ft. tumble tramps, vault tables, balance beams in graduated heights, uneven bars, practice bars, trampolines, a wide variety of small equipment to aid in instruction of the young through advanced as well as training facilities for the elite gymnast.

Tiny Tot Classes
Parent-tot classes are put together specifically for children aged eighteen months to three years. We start with a stretching song, spend time upside down, and go to all four of our tiny tot events–bars, beam, floor, and trampoline. We spend about seven minutes on each station, then finish the class with time playing with our parachute. Watch your child gain confidence in movement and playground safety.
These are our classes for three year old children that are potty trained/diaper free. With a maximum class size of five students per coach, these students will have a great introduction to organized sports and classes working as part of a group. Along with learning beginning gymnastics skills, children will learn to walk in a line, take turns, and follow their coach directions. These classes so a warm up song some stretching, two events a week! This is a 45 minute class. This 45-minute long class starts with a warm up song and some stretching, then activities on two of the four apparatuses rotating each week.
Cricket classes are for children ages four to six who are beginning level. Even if your child has done gymnastics before, this is a great place to start in our program as we go over lots of basics in this level, which are so important to overall athletic success! We start each class with a song then the class will warm up and follow their coach to two events! We start this 45-minute class with a song and warm up activites, then instruction on two of the four apparatuses. Each week we switch events so all four apparatuses will be covered in two weeks. We switch events every week so students will get all four every two weeks. This is a 45 minute class.
Bumblebee classes are our intermediate classes for children ages four to six. Students will test into this level from Crickets, and with the basics needed, they will start learning skills like handstands, cartwheels, and pullovers. This class will start with a song, do some stretching and conditioning, and go to floor, bars, and either beam or trampoline. This class is an hour long.
Hummingbird classes are our advanced classes for students ages four to six. Children need to test into this level from Bumblebees, and here they will add to their skills they learned there! basic gymnastics skills. We start doing a warm up similar to our girls classes–students will start with running, skipping, and conditioning, along with stretching. They will go to floor, bars, and either beam or trampoline, but will also start learning early vaulting drills. Class starts with running, skipping, conditioning and stretching. Students go to floor, bars and alternate beam or trampoline each week. Early vaulting skills are incorporated in floor exercise. This class is an hour long.
Girls Classes
This class is our beginning level for girls in first through fifth grade, which includes instruction on and they will have the opportunity to go to bars, beam, floor, vault, and trampoline. In this hour-long class students can expect to practice handstands, cartwheels, bridge kickovers, pullovers, rolls on the beam, along with lots of other skills. Look for announcements for any of our special events throughout the year and end-of-year performance., or our end of the year show. This class is an hour long and the girls will go to warm up, floor, bars or beam, and vault or trampoline. Each class includes a warm up and training on three of the five apparatuses all of which are covered over two weeks.
This is our intermediate level for girls in first through fifth grade. They will continue working on the basics learned in our first level, but will start adding on harder skills. Students can expect to work on round-offs, backwalkovers, bridge kickovers, introduction to handstands on beam, and round off dismounts on beam, back hip circles and flight dismounts on Bars. This class is an hour and fifteen minutes long, so allowing students to go to each apparatus each week. warm up, floor, bars, beam, and vault or trampoline.
This is one of our an advanced level for girls who are in first through fifth grade. This is the level where we will start to see bigger skills. Students will start practicing practice back bends, back handsprings, front handsprings, handstands on beam, and cartwheel-to-handstand dismounts on beam, stride circles, glides and cast sole circle dismounts on bars. In the warm up, we will start to see This hour and 15 minute class will include more conditioning as upper body strength becomes a real necessity in this level becomes essential for advanced gymnastics skills. Students will warm up then go to floor, bars, beam, and vault or trampoline.
This is our highest level for girls in our class program until they enter our middle school or high school classes. Students will start to take skills learned on soft mats and trampolines to the floor, where they can connect them and add on to them add combinations and sequences. We continue working bars and beam in this level, and athletes can expect to practice handstands on beam, leaps, cartwheel to handstand 1/4 turn dismounts, cast squat on on bars, and kips. This class is one hour and thirty minutes, and students will go to warm up, floor, bars, beam, vault or trampoline, and will get an extra fifteen minutes for conditioning! Students will work leaps, turns, cartwheels and back walkovers on beam, kip mounts and low to high bar combinations on bars, and regulation handspring vaults. This class is one hour and 30 minutes and includes 15 minutes of conditioning.
Boys Classes
This is our beginning level for boys in first through fifth grade, which includes instruction on bars, rings, floor, pommel horse, and trampoline. In this hour-long class students can expect to practice handstands, cartwheels, pullovers, leg cuts, swings on parallel bars and rings, along with strength exercises. Look for announcements for any of our special events throughout the year and end-of-year performance. Each class includes a warm up and training on three of the five apparatuses all of which are covered over two weeks.
This is our intermediate level for boys in first through fifth grade. They will continue working on the basics learned in our first level, but will start adding on harder skills. Students can expect to work on round-offs, dive rolls, bridge kickovers, front tucks off trampoline, single leg swings on pommel horse and dismounts on parallel bars and rings. This class is an hour and fifteen minutes, allowing students to go to each apparatus each week.
This is our advanced level for boys in first through fifth grade. Students will practice back handsprings, front handsprings, parallel bar swings, trampoline skills, and ring routines. This hour and 30 minute class will include more conditioning as upper body strength becomes essential for advanced gymnastics skills. Students will warm up then go to floor, parallel bars, rings, high bar and trampoline.
Roberts Mini Stretcher
Flying Ninjas 1: 45 minute classes teaching on-axis rolling, jumping, climbing and moving efficiently – $189.00
Flying Ninjas 2: 1 hour class teaching on-axis and off-axis flipping, spinning and movement on a larger scale (SKILL EVALUATION REQUIRED)- $225.00
Through the medium of ever changing obstacles and challenges these classes are designed to develop critical thinking, improve strength, coordination and air sense. Your child will build self confidence as he learns to accept and master each challenge presented.
Punch Card Classes
This class is on Sundays at our Issaquah Team Gym for girls 1st -8th grade.

This program runs on a punch card system, which can be purchased at the Issaquah Gym office on Mall Street.
*Punch-cards are $108 for 4 punches and $216 for 8 punches.
All punch cards expire in six months from the date of purchase.
An annual registration fee of $60 is also required.
This class is centered on fundamental acrobatic technique and will increase flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, endurance, timing, body awareness, self-discipline
and confidence.
This program runs on a punch card system which can be purchased at the front desk or over the phone. An annual registration fee of $60 is also required and all skill levels are welcome!
- The School Year punch cards are $132 for 4 punches and $264 for 8 punches and expire six months from the date of purchase.
